Independent Sales Agent Role
Responsibilities
- Visit or call local businesses to offer Avant Payments services
- Identify merchant needs and recommend the right terminal and pricing setup
- Explain surcharging and Interac savings in a simple, clear way
- Submit applications and follow up with merchants
- Provide basic after-sales communication while our team handles onboarding and support
Compensation
- Competitive upfront bonuses for each approved merchant
- Monthly residuals that continue as long as the merchant is active
- Higher splits for experienced agents
- No income cap
- Optional performance incentives over time
What We Look For
- Confident speaking with business owners
- Sales or customer service experience is helpful but not required
- Self motivated and organized
- Comfortable visiting stores in person
- Able to represent the Avant brand professionally
